Murano
Murano is a town in the Venetian Lagoon, located northeast of Venice and made up of seven islands. Murano is part of the municipality of Venice. With 4,093 inhabitants, it is one of the most populated centers of the Venetian Lagoon.
The islands that make up Murano are located along the Marani channel and are divided by canals and connected to each other by bridges. The island is known throughout the world for the centuries-old artisanal activity that produces Murano glass.
