Giudecca
La Giudecca is an island at south of the historic center of Venice. It overlooks the homonymous canale della Giudecca, in front of the sestiere of Dorsoduro. It is a very quiet residential area with little presence of tourists. In Giudecca you can take a pleasant walk at sunset and even dine in one of its charming restaurants facing the canal. Its main attraction is the Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore, designed by Andrea Palladio between 1577 and 1592. At the western end of the island is the imposing Molino Stucky, today a luxury hotel.
The island has four stops for the ACTV vaporetti: Zitelle, Redentore, Palanca, Sacca Fisola. The lines that reach the island are 2, 4.1 and 4.2, which make all the stops. During the night, line N arrives on the island, replacing line 2.
